United States and UK officials claims they shot down 15 drones from Houthi’s administrated Yemen. US central command says their guided missile destroyer drowned 14 suspected attack drones from Yemen’s Houthis.
United Kingdom’s defense secretary Grant Shapps also claims they destroyed a drone trying to target merchant shipping.
In the mean time, Yemen’s Houthi regime claims they attacked Israeli city of Eilat on Saturday with multiple drones. The Houthis have assured to continue their attacks over the Red Sea to increase pressure on Israel.
Concerns arises in business communities as attacks on container ships and oil supplies increases in the Red Sea, the world’s busiest shipping route.
