In the last 24 hours, many people in Gaza have been killed in bombing and attacks from IDF. The Israeli army told people in Khan Younis, the second-largest city in Gaza, to immediately leave the area.
The officials from Gaza strip said that over 700 Palestinians have been killed since Israel started bombing again after a temporary seven-day pause.
More than 1.5 million people leave their homes, mostly from northern Gaza. There’s an extraordinary humanitarian crisis since Israel started its military operation following a deadly attack by Hamas on October 7.
On Saturday night and Sunday, there were heavy bombings in Khan Younis city, Rafah, and northern Gaza.
UNICEF’s global spokesperson, James Elder said
There are children everywhere with severe burns, wounds from bomb fragments, brain injuries, and broken bones. Mothers are crying over children who seem very close to death. The situation seems very dangerous right now.
